buiildvantage completes handover of 14 affordable homes to black country housing group.
Birmingham-based housing association, Black Country Housing Group (BCHG), has received the keys to fourteen new homes from property development company, Buildvantage. The new homes are part of a larger development in Goodrich Mews, Dudley and will be used to provide affordable housing for the local community.
BCHG, which is responsible for over 2,000 homes in the region, provides affordable housing for people on low incomes or in need of extra support. The new homes will be available for rent to eligible tenants and will help to alleviate the current shortage of affordable housing in the area.
Buildvantage, a property development company with a focus on sustainable building practices, has been working on the project for several months. The completion and handover of the homes mark a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable housing to the region.
Commenting on the completion of the project, a spokesperson for Buildvantage said: “We are delighted to have completed the handover of these homes to BCHG. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable housing, and we are committed to playing our part in making that a reality.”
The spokesperson went on to say that the company was particularly proud of its commitment to sustainable building practices, which had been incorporated into the design and construction of the homes. “We believe that building sustainably is not only the right thing to do for the planet, but it also makes economic sense in the long run,” they said.
The completion of the Goodrich Mews development is a significant step forward for the region in meeting its affordable housing needs. With the ongoing housing crisis affecting many areas of the country, the provision of affordable homes is more important than ever. The handover of the new homes to BCHG is a positive step towards addressing this issue and providing much-needed accommodation to those who need it most.
